Getting started with Datalabs
A Datalab helps analyse, prepare and validate datasets for later use in Media DCRs.
When you onboard your required datasets in Decentriq, they first land in the Dataset Portal. From there, they get provisioned and validated in a Datalab, which can then be provisioned to one (or more) Media DCRs for collaboration.
A Datalab is built around an Identifiers dataset that lists every identifier attached to each user — including matching IDs (used to match against the seed audience in a Media DCR) and activation IDs (used to export audiences). Optional Segments, Demographics, and Embeddings datasets unlock additional collaboration types.
Accessing Datalabs
Datalabs can be found in the following places depending on your organization type:
- Publishers: Access Datalabs through the Publisher Portal → Datalabs tab
- Data Partners: Access Datalabs through the Data Partner Portal → Datalabs tab
- Other Organizations: Access Datalabs as a standalone tab in your main navigation if you have the Datalab permission
