Manage data in the Dataset Portal
The Dataset Portal serves as the central hub for all your data. It allows you to manage your datasets, trigger imports of data (see Import data from external source), trigger exports of data (see Export data to an external destination) and see the status of imports and exports.
Imports from Amazon S3, Google Cloud Storage, and Azure Blob Storage are configured as re-runnable import connectors on the Connectors page.
Tabs of the Datasets page
The Datasets page has two tabs:
- The Datasets tab lists all datasets you own or that were shared with you.
- The Imports/Exports tab shows the status of one-shot imports and of exports.
Datasets tab toolbar
The toolbar of the Datasets tab lets you:
- Search datasets by name with the Search datasets field.
- Filter the list by tags or by source.
- Download the table as a CSV file, with the columns Name, Tags, Upload date, Source, and File size.
- Upload a new dataset with the primary Upload dataset button.
You can also rename a dataset and assign tags to it from the list.
Dataset management

When selecting a dataset in the list you see various details, including which DCRs the dataset has been provisioned to and the schema of the data (for tables).
Deleting a dataset also deletes any derived results in DCRs.
Sharing of datasets with other users of the same organization
You can share datasets with other users of the same organization by clicking on a dataset and choosing Permissions and clicking on Share dataset.
